Study of Waxes Wear
The
elite skier gets objective information about the real wear of the waxes he is
testing, in all kind of distances covered and climatic conditions, being able
to compare and analyse this information for a correct choice of waxes in the
competition.
The
Ngski.com patent (Wax Wear Control Device) allows the control and
measurement of the quantity of wax in a ski before and after being used. It
controls the wear.
This aim is
achieved adding a substance (a type of colouring for paraffins) to the
traditional wax, with the special characteristic that it is sensitive to a
stimulation by an electromagnetic wave.
The
measurement is made by a device with a stimulating source capable of emitting
an electromagnetic wave, and a sensor capable of measuring the wave
strength emitted by the reagent substance contained in the wax.
The ski’s sole can be scanned in its entirety or bit by bit.
We
are studying the power developed by an athlete when it pushes in level.
The device measures the force produced on a fixed distance. Now we build
and test a new ergonomic Grip.
